Setting up the configuration

The first time the snap application is run, all of its configuration settings are at their defaults. You shuold configure your system at this point to make sure it is operating correctly.

 

Enter administration mode:

From the Tools menu, select Administrator Mode. Enter the password when prompted. If the password is correct, the system will be in administrative mode. (default password = sasnp)

Setup system to your configuration preferences:

Select Tools/Options and then confgure the following:

  1. Root folder for captured scenes. This is a folder on the LOCAL file system. All folders under this root folder can contain images of a scene. All scenes or a single scene can be monitored. Each time a new image arrives in the scene being monitored, it is shown on the main display screen. Press Okay and then test the system by writing a new image file to a child folder of the monitored root folder. From the main screen select the option to monitor a single scene or all scenes.

  2. To select an image for printing, double click on the image.

  3. To print, select the appropriate printer and press the key "Print Using..."
